About the role: 

The Fixed Plant Maintenance team is currently seeking an Officer Shut Down support to join them on an 4 Days on, 3 days off FIFO Roster based at Roy Hill mine. Reporting to the Superintendent Scheduling Maintenance, you will be responsible for the administrative support to the Maintenance Scheduling team.  

 

You will be a highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail and advanced written and verbal communication skills. You will be key team player, enjoying a busy and rewarding role.  

 

Duties: 

  • Manage vendor relationships and engagement, ensuring timely and effective frontline services, alongside facilitating interdepartmental communications and interactions between internal and external parties 
  • Oversee logistics coordination and management, including work pack development, work order time confirmation, and facilitating special projects like process improvements 
  • Handle financial and administrative tasks such as invoice assessments, creating service entry sheets, and generating BAC reports, while integrating daily information 
  • Conduct shutdown facility checks, process required stock orders, maintain records and notifications, manage the shared inbox, and develop as well as implement new processes and improvement strategies ton ensure business continuity 

 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and the use of document management databases, and financial databases (i.e SAP) 
  • A service-orientated and flexible approach to the changing demands and priorities of the business whilst ensuring compliance 
  • Strong organisational and communication skills and attention to detail
